Talk about the day of the week, month and season

How to: Talk about how time passes and what happens in the different seasons when you're walking to school. Use and explain words like Spring, morning, noon, night, Autumn, yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Read the road signs out loud together

How to: Point out the road signs when you're out and about. Explain that traffic signs tell people on roads and pavements what to do - they tell us to stop, watch out for deer and be aware of our speed. Talk about the different shapes, sizes and colours and what they mean.
